Arab Coalition Intercepts, Destroys 4 Houthi Drones in Failed Attack
The Saudi-led Arab coalition announced on Sunday that it has intercepted and destroyed four armed drones fired by the Iran-backed Houthi militias in Yemen towards southern Saudi Arabia.
The coalition said the drone launch coincided with the Houthis’ firing of four ballistic missiles at Yemen’s Marib province.
It added that the Houthis used civilian facilities to prepare and launch their attack.
On Saturday, the coalition said it destroyed a main Houthi weapons cache in the Yemeni capital Sanaa.
It also destroyed a ballistic missile launchpad in southern Sanaa. A number of experts were killed in the operation.
The coalition also destroyed a mine-making and drone-assembly workshop in the Houthi-held capital.
