The Brussels Morning News revealed that Makki Al-Maghrabi, a Brotherhood member and former diplomat during Al-Bashir‘s regime, participated as a representative of the Sudanese Islamic Movement in several discussion panels at the Moshe Dayan Center for Middle Eastern and African Studies in Tel Aviv.

The newspaper stated that the advisor to the Sudanese government affiliated with the army attends with the knowledge, support, and backing of the Director of the Sudanese Intelligence Service, Lieutenant General Ibrahim Mufaddal.
