Coronavirus: China’s major city of Xi’an shuts down to avoid ‘blast’

Restaurants, bars, places of worship or karaoke will close for a week in the great Chinese city of Xi’an, after about twenty cases of Covid-19, authorities said Tuesday, July 5.

The historical and tourist city of 13 million inhabitants, former imperial capital, is known worldwide for its army buried in terracotta of the first emperor of China.
