Probiotics are live microorganisms naturally found in fermented foods such as yogurt, kimchi, and kefir. They play a crucial role in maintaining a balanced gut microbiome, aiding digestion, and strengthening the immune system.

Prebiotics, on the other hand, are dietary fibers that serve as “food” for probiotics. They promote the growth and activity of beneficial bacteria in the gut, enhancing their effectiveness.
