Dubai ruler said that UAE would be the fastest country worldly to recover from the coronavirus pandemic
On Saturday, Dubai’s ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum related that the UAE would be the fastest country in the world to recover from the coronavirus pandemic.
Indeed, the sheikh declared this on the first day of GITEX, an annual consumer computer, and electronics trade. It is considered one of the first major events to be taking place in Dubai since the emergence of the coronavirus’s pandemic.
Sheikh Mohammed, who is also Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, reported in a Twitter post: GITEX will be the most important realistic global technical event in 2020 and the UAE will be the fastest country in the world to recover.
He also said: Our institutions have proven their ability to adapt. We will conclude 2020 with a global event and we will start 2021 with a series of projects and major initiatives.
Khaleej Times quoted what Dubai’s ruler said during a gathering with the UAE Ministry of Economy’s task force, the UAE government is encouraging a drive towards an economy post-COVID-19 that is based on knowledge, smart technology and advanced sciences.
The National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) declared on Friday that the UAE reopened mosques for Friday prayer, and prayers should follow coronavirus precautions.
According to a country’s Ministry of Health and Prevention statement, the UAE stated on Saturday 1,214 new coronavirus cases after making 83,146 tests in the last 24 hours.
