Explosive July in Ukraine: Zelensky Reveals the Black Harvest

More than 3,800 drones and around 260 missiles targeted Ukraine throughout July, summarizing what President Volodymyr Zelensky described as an “explosive month.”
In a post published on his official X (formerly Twitter) account, Zelensky wrote: “In July alone, Russia used more than 5,100 glide bombs against Ukraine, more than 3,800 drones, and about 260 missiles of various types, including 128 ballistic missiles.”

He added: “This cannot be stopped unless there is a joint effort by the U.S., Europe, and other global actors. Every contribution matters.”
He emphasized: “Every day counts. I am thankful to everyone who supports Ukraine.”
Zelensky referred to the Russian strike on Kyiv that took place Thursday morning, which killed 31 people, including five children, according to the Interior Ministry.
He stressed that this attack once again highlights the necessity of increased pressure on Moscow and the imposition of additional sanctions.

“No matter how much the Kremlin denies their impact, sanctions work—and they must be intensified. They should target all means that enable these attacks. The world must not remain silent.”
Zelensky expressed gratitude to “everyone who has supported our people,” and commended the “clear stance of President Trump, European leaders, and their partners in condemning Russia.”
In response to the deadly attack, Kyiv declared Friday a day of mourning, marking the deadliest strike on the capital since the war began in February 2022.

Patriot Systems Reinforcement: Germany and the U.S. Cooperate
On Friday, Germany announced it would deliver two Patriot missile systems to Ukraine after reaching an agreement with the United States, under which Berlin will receive the latest systems sooner.
German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius stated that thanks to U.S. support,“Germany can initially assist Ukraine with additional Patriot launchers, followed by more system components within two to three months.”
Germany has already delivered three Patriot systems to Ukraine and confirmed that the extra contribution will not affect its NATO commitments.
