Fireball in Aden’s Sky: 5 Dead and 13 Injured in Gas Station Explosion

An explosion at a gas station in the Yemeni city of Aden on Friday evening caused widespread panic as a massive fireball rose into the sky, visible from various parts of the city.

The explosion terrified residents, with the sound of the blast heard frighteningly from different areas. 

A gas-laden tanker exploded next to a gas and petroleum product station located on Line 90 in the Mansoura district in central Aden.

“The size of the explosion is enormous,” and there are civilian casualties, particularly since the explosion occurred near residential neighborhoods. 

A security source said initial reports indicate that at least 5 people were killed and 13 others injured in the gas station explosion.
