Four people stabbed at a university in Germany
Four people were injured on Friday, 10 June, in a knife attack at a higher education institution in western Germany and the alleged perpetrator was arrested, local police said
The police did not specify the severity of the injuries or the context of the events, which occurred at the University of Hamm-Lippstadt, in North Rhine-Westphalia, some 50 kilometers from Dortmund.
“Several people were injured by a knife”, local police said on Twitter, adding that the author was neutralized.
According to WDR., the attacker was a young man from Hamm who attacked several students, three women and one man, who were injured. “We are there with large police forces and we urge you to avoid this area”, the security forces added on Twitter, according to Le Figaro.
