French magazine ‘Le Point’… reveals shocking new facts about how Qatar got rid of the prosecutor

According to French newspaper ”Le Point”, how Qatar got rid of its public prosecutor, Ali bin Fetais al-Marri, the country’s top prosecutor since 2002, has been let down very quietly. It is the subject of many international complaints.

According to the French newspaper, Emmanuel Macron received a long letter on July 6 signed by Sheikh Ahmed bin Khaled bin Mohammed bin Ali bin Abdullah bin Qasim bin Mohammed al-Thani. He is a member of the Qatari ruling family, linked to the Al-Thani dynasty. He also accused the former Attorney General of the State of Qatar “and many of his partners” of embezzling the wealth of the State of Qatar “for their own interests.” They use France as a haven.

The French newspaper published exclusively a detailed public report in September 2018, in which it revealed the corruption of the Qatari Public Prosecutor, his financial crimes in Europe, and his funding of terrorism, especially the international organization of the Muslim Brotherhood. It referred to mass scandals, which the French website Mediapart published, specialized in investigations of the Qatari Public Prosecutor, who is suspected of involvement in many corruption files and illegally achieving vast wealth after the discovery of secret accounts belonging to him in a bank in the Gulf. It pointed out that investigations by the American authorities revealed a relationship between Saleh al-Marri and Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, one of the planners of the September 11 attacks, and demanded that Ali al-Marri be released, which has already happened, where he was circulated by two imprisoned Americans. In Qatar, he made several calls in 2008 to release a relative imprisoned in Guantanamo.

The French newspaper revealed that the Qatari government has abandoned the Attorney General by firing him, without announcing his thanks for his service (19 years), which explains that the Government of Qatar is dispensing with its people at the earliest opportunity for its own interests.

The information revealed in the article reveals the corruption of the Qatari Attorney General and the accusations he faces concerning embezzlement of his personal interests and his connection with the financing of terrorism, despite the fact that he was the president of the International Association of Anti-Corruption Agencies.

It is also noteworthy that Qatar is getting rid of corrupt figures or those that could harm the reputation of Qatar, especially because of the proximity of the World Cup next year, due to the presence of many Qatari violations.

It is worth mentioning that voices have been raised calling for an investigation by the French judicial system with Ali Bin Fetais Al-Marri (Qatari Public Prosecutor) on the total of his properties in France.
