During a televised interview on MBC Masr, he noted that Jordan, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Gulf countries, and some African states are currently Egypt’s only real allies.
Dr. El-Fekki also voiced concerns about Syria’s historical Arab identity and certain internal vindictive tendencies. He clarified that the current situation in Syria stems from a military rebellion that has persisted for 14 years.

He added, “When Ahmad Al-Sharaa, known as Al-Joulani, wore a suit, it sent a positive signal. However, his prideful remarks about Turkey raise questions, even though Turkey is less harmful than Iran, as Tehran has religious agendas it aims to impose.”
