Houthi’s fray after formation of Yemeni Presidential Council
The Houthi terrorist militia is in a difficult phase of confusion and weakness, as a result of the successive blows it has recently received, whether because of its designation as a terrorist organization or even because of Saudi Arabia’s efforts to organize the Yemeni house, which resulted in the formation of the Presidential Council and the elimination of all pro-Houthi or pro-Brotherhood faces.
Internal conflicts
Informed sources revealed that conflicts and crises escalated within the ranks of the Houthi terrorist militia due to confusion among the leadership ranks and fears about the approaching end of the militia, especially after the last negotiations were concluded without Houthi being in the hands of the negotiators.
The sources said: “The Houthi militia believes that the Yemeni Presidential Council poses a great danger to it, as it would eliminate the previous state of inaction and weakness, which was a clear and major cause of the worsening of Yemen’s crises”.
The sources clarified that the militia is currently communicating with the Iranian regime and Hezbollah leaders in order to study the situation in the region, after the Arab strike started to undermine the Iranian presence in Yemen, Syria and Lebanon.
Houthi’s reaction to the Presidential Council
In an official statement, the Houthi terrorist and pro-Iranian militia described the formation of Yemen’s presidential command council as a desperate attempt to reorganize the ranks of what they described as mercenaries, accusing the Saudi Arabia-led coalition in Yemen of pushing for an escalation.
Saudi Arabia had urged the Yemeni Presidential Command Council to begin negotiating with the Houthis under the auspices of the United Nations to reach a final and comprehensive political solution that includes a transitional period that will move Yemen to peace and development.
Experts said the Houthi statement revealed his fears, his aversion to the Presidential Council, and his ability to completely oust Houthi elements from their areas of influence.
