Houthis Seek a Replacement for (Abdul-Malik al-Houthi) !!

Media sources have revealed that the Houthi terrorist militia is considering appointing a backup leader to replace (Abdul Malik al-Houthi), the group’s leader, in anticipation of any potential targeting that may occur.

Sources, cited by (Al-Muntasaf Net), indicated that these measures aim to confront any possible strikes that might target the militia’s leadership, amid fears of a scenario similar to the assassination of Hezbollah leaders in Lebanon.

The sources confirmed that internal discussions are underway to select a replacement leader, under the direction of Iran’s envoy to the Houthi militia, Ali Mohammed Rezaei, who was appointed as a replacement for Hassan Irloo, who was killed in an Arab coalition airstrike. At the time, Iran claimed that Irloo had died from the coronavirus.

According to the sources, these measures come as part of precautionary security arrangements, which include repositioning the leaders, updating command, control, and communication systems, to prevent breaches similar to what happened to the Lebanese Hezbollah militia.

Several top and second-tier leaders of the Houthi militias had left Sana’a for the caves of Maran in Saada province after the death of Hezbollah’s Secretary-General, Hassan Nasrallah, during an Israeli bombardment on the southern suburbs of Beirut.

The sources also confirmed that Iranian and Hezbollah experts were moved to fortified shelters in the Houthi group’s stronghold in the mountainous province of Saada in the north of the country.

They added that the Houthi militia had tightened security measures for its leaders and decided to completely isolate them from public appearances, fearing they might be targeted by Israel.
