How the Muslim Brotherhood Sabotaged the Educational System

Egyptian journalist Ahmed Moussa launched a sharp attack on the Muslim Brotherhood, which is listed as a terrorist organization, during his discussion about the history of the educational system in Egypt and the Brotherhood’s role in corrupting minds, disrupting the educational process, and spreading extremist ideas among students during their rule.

Ahmed Moussa stated on *Sada El-Balad* channel: “I used to write entire pages in *Al-Ahram* about the Muslim Brotherhood, and they would insult me. I exposed them significantly, and they wrote articles against me to attack me.”

He added: “After 2011, the Muslim Brotherhood corrupted the curricula significantly and sabotaged people’s minds during their time in power.”

He continued: “I was exposing the Muslim Brotherhood and their plans. My position is clear and steadfast; it does not change towards the Brotherhood, and I do not change my stance as the members of this terrorist group do.”

Meanwhile, Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, announced in a statement regarding the decisions to restructure the secondary school curricula that the ministry’s vision for restructuring the secondary school curricula is not related to canceling or lightening subjects and adding others, but the goal is to restructure the secondary stage according to global standards. He noted that this is to allow teachers to deliver quality education in the classroom, with a set number of accredited hours for core subjects.
