Intelligence support to Tehran… a new chapter in Zelensky’s accusations against Russia

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has leveled new accusations against Russia, accusing it of providing Iran with intelligence information.

On Monday, following his meeting with the head of military intelligence, Zelensky said that Kyiv possesses “irrefutable” evidence that Russia continues to supply Iran with intelligence.

The Ukrainian president wrote on the platform X: “Russia is using its capabilities in the field of information and electronic intelligence, in addition to part of the data obtained through cooperation with partners in the Middle East.”

He later added in his evening video address that there is “growing evidence” of ongoing Russian efforts to provide intelligence information to Iran.

He continued: “This is clearly a subversive activity and must be stopped, as it only leads to further destabilization. All responsible states have an interest in ensuring security and preventing a larger problem.”

Addressing the economic situation, he said: “Markets are already reacting negatively, which significantly complicates the fuel situation in many countries. By helping the Iranian regime survive and carry out more precise strikes, Russia is effectively prolonging the war.”

Last week, the Kremlin rejected a report published by the American newspaper The Wall Street Journal, which stated that Russia is sharing satellite imagery and advanced drone technology with Iran, describing the report as “fake news.”
