Iran on High Alert Amid ‘Major Breach’: Mossad Operatives Captured by Security Forces

Iran has announced the interception of vehicles linked to Israel’s Mossad intelligence agency, which were allegedly transporting kamikaze drones inside Iranian territory. The move comes as part of intensified security efforts aimed at countering what officials describe as a “major infiltration.”
On Friday, Israeli media outlets quoted a security source detailing Mossad’s penetration into Iran and the distribution of missiles before and during the attack launched by Tel Aviv.
In what appears to be a tacit acknowledgment of the breach, Iranian authorities on Saturday announced heightened security measures, including the arrest of several individuals accused of attempted infiltration and drone equipment trafficking.
Authorities also reported the detention of individuals who disseminated information labeled as “misleading” by Iran’s judiciary in relation to the recent Israeli strikes.
Mossad Activity Inside Iran
In a statement, Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence said security forces had intercepted several vehicles belonging to individuals with ties to the Israeli intelligence agency (Mossad), which were transporting kamikaze drones within Iranian territory.
The statement noted that operations took place in the provinces of Zanjan, Kermanshah, and Kurdistan, urging citizens to report any suspicious activity involving pickup trucks or light vehicles via a designated hotline.
In a related development, the public prosecutor in Yazd Province announced the arrest of five individuals accused of “spreading disturbing news and rumors that undermine public psychological security and serve the enemy’s media agenda.”
Officials warned that publishing any content in support of Israel or content that undermines national morale constitutes a criminal offense, punishable by two to five years in prison.
‘Psychological Warfare Pawns’
Meanwhile, the judicial assistant for cyber affairs warned that sharing images or rumors that contribute to “public insecurity” is part of the broader hostile campaign being waged in digital space. He emphasized that security agencies would act decisively against what he called the enemy’s “psychological warfare pawns.”
These developments come amid unprecedented tensions between Iran and Israel, following a series of reciprocal military strikes targeting sensitive nuclear and military facilities, which have claimed the lives of senior Iranian military leaders and technical experts.
In response, Iran’s state agencies have declared full security mobilization, asserting their readiness to deter any new aggression that threatens national sovereignty or internal peace.
