Fayez Abbas, an expert on Israeli affairs, suggests that this incident may be indicative of growing tensions between Netanyahu and some commanders of the Israeli military. Netanyahu, who has held the position of Prime Minister for many years and is heavily focused on Iranian threats, could find himself in a difficult situation following the revelation of this crisis.

He added that relations between the military and the government in Israel are extremely sensitive, requiring full coordination between political and military leadership to make decisions impacting national security.

He also pointed out that the delivery of a secret document in this manner, without the knowledge of the Defense Minister or Chief of Staff, could indicate internal divisions or poor management of information flow within the military and political system.
