Israel announces strikes on two naval missile production sites in Tehran

The Israeli army announced on Wednesday that it had targeted two naval missile production sites in Tehran, which were operating under the direction of Iran’s Ministry of Defense.

Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee said on his account on the platform “X” that “the air force, under the direction of the military intelligence directorate, has in recent days attacked two central sites for the production of naval cruise missiles in Tehran.”

Adraee explained that these two sites were operating “under the command of Iran’s Ministry of Defense and were used by the regime to develop and produce long-range naval cruise missiles capable of rapidly destroying maritime and land targets.”

He added that the strikes “caused extensive damage,” describing them as “an additional step toward deepening the strikes against the Iranian regime’s military production infrastructure.”

Since February 28, the United States and Israel have been carrying out continuous strikes against Iran, targeting facilities for the production of drones and ballistic missiles, as well as political and military leaders.
