Kuwaiti Foreign Minister : We Seek Positive Relations with Morocco
Kuwaiti Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, Sheikh Ahmed Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah, said on Friday that his country seeks relations that constitute a positive turning point in communication with Morocco.
During a press conference with Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita in the capital Rabat, Ahmed Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Sabah said : “We seek relations that constitute a positive turning point in communication between our two countries”.
He explained : “We will discuss the preparations for the joint Moroccan-Kuwaiti committee, which is scheduled to be held this year, as well as the Arab and regional issues.”
He continued : “We are also working with Morocco to strengthen cooperation in the face of the coronavirus pandemic”.
Earlier in the day, the Kuwaiti Foreign Minister was received by the brother of the Moroccan King, Prince Rashid, in Rabat, where the latter handed him a message from the Emir of the State of Kuwait, Sheik Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, to King Mohammed VI.
The message is related to the historical ties and fraternal ties between the two countries and peoples and means to strengthen the strong ties between them in all fields and at all levels, the official Kuwait News Agency reported.
