Large European moves to crack down on Brotherhood organizations

Many international movements have sought to curb the activities of the Brotherhood in many European countries by pressuring them to enact legislation to stop the activities of associations and organizations affiliated with the terrorist group.

Confronting the Brotherhood threat

Over the past few hours, in Germany, the Christian Union presented a strong request for a briefing in the parliament, titled “The Spread of the Brotherhood in Germany and Its Financing from Abroad”. The request mentioned the establishment of the British Europe Trust company, the financial arm of the terrorist Brotherhood, in Berlin, by purchasing property in the Vedding neighborhood in the German capital for 4 million euros and converting it to a headquarters for Brotherhood-affiliated organizations.

The request for a briefing confirmed that many associations and groups that belong to the Commission for the Protection of the Constitution, Islamist circles and the Brotherhood, have moved their headquarters to the new property.

A briefing request asked the federal government to provide its assessments of the British-based Europe Trust.

How is this company (Europe Trust) integrated into the European structures of the Brotherhood? and “What role do the associations active in Germany play in the European Brotherhood network?”

The Government was also required to submit a list of the land and real estate purchased by the same company, in Germany in past years, and the money paid to do so.

Restricting the activities of the Brotherhood

Dr. Oqila Dabishi, a political analyst and director of the French Center for Strategic and International Studies, said that there are many European movements to besiege the activities of the Brotherhood and to stop the organizations and institutions affiliated with it.

The director of the French Center for International Studies added: “Europe’s siege of the Brotherhood is aimed at encircling the Brotherhood’s ideology of hatred in Europe by banning extremist organizations affiliated with the Brotherhood’s extremist movement. In particular, confronting the threat of these extremist groups in Europe has extended to besieging terrorist networks and all those responsible for them, in addition to liberating mosques, schools, and other places”.
