Major Fire at Filming Location of Famous Egyptian Series
A major fire broke out at the filming location of the eighth season of the series “Al Kabeer Oy” at the Media Production City in Egypt.
Local media reported that a massive fire erupted at the filming location of the series, specifically at the set (the house) of the main character “Al Kabeer,” due to an electrical short circuit.
The fire broke out on the site during the filming of scenes for the eighth season of the series “Al Kabeer Oy,” scheduled to air during the Ramadan season in 2024.
Firefighting, ambulance, and civil defense vehicles rushed to the scene of the fire to attempt to extinguish it, and their efforts resulted in the fire being brought under control and contained.
Meanwhile, Egyptian actor Hatem Salah, famous for his role as “Nefady” in the series “Al Kabeer Oy,” stated that the fire had been brought under control without any injuries reported among the filming crew.
Salah told local media that filming of the remaining scenes of the series would resume after the reconfiguration of the filming location to meet the Ramadan season broadcasting schedule.
The series “Al Kabeer Oy 8” features Ahmed Makki, Rahma Ahmed, Bayoumi Fouad, Mostafa Ghareeb, Mohamed Salam, Samaa Ibrahim, Hisham Ismail, Hussein Hegazi, and Hatem Salah.
The series also features numerous guest appearances, with a screenplay by Mostafa Saqr and Mohamed Az Eldin, and directed by Ahmed El Gendy.
