Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre publishes a historic picture… 11 astronauts at the International Space Station
The Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Center released Friday a group photo of UAE astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi along with his colleagues on the International Space Station (ISS).
Sultan Al Neyadi is on his first long-term mission for Arab astronauts, and the International Space Station currently includes 11 astronauts, the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Center reported via its official Twitter account.
Al Neyadi and crew-6 arrived at the ISS on SpaceX Dragon Endeavor on March 3rd to undertake the longest mission in Arab history in six months.
Launched by the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Center as part of the Emirates Astronaut Program, the mission to the International Space Station is the first long-term mission for Arab astronauts in history.
