Morocco condemns Houthi attack: We are totally in solidarity with the UAE
The Kingdom of Morocco has strongly condemned the vicious attack carried out by Houthi militias on both the Musaffah area and Abou Dabi airport.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad expressed its strong condemnation of the targeting of civilians.
The Kingdom of Morocco also affirmed its full solidarity with the United Arab Emirates in defending the territorial integrity and security of its citizens.
The United Arab Emirates condemned the targeting of Houthi terrorist militias in civilian facilities in Abou Dabi on Monday, stressing that it reserves the right to react.
“We condemn the Houthi terrorist militia’s targeting of civilian areas and facilities on UAE territory today”, the UAE Foreign Ministry said in a statement Monday evening.
“This vicious targeting will not go unpunished”, it said.
In its statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation said that the UAE reserves the right to react to these terrorist attacks and this heinous criminal escalation, describing these attacks as a heinous crime carried out by the Houthi militia outside international and humanitarian laws.
The ministry said: “This terrorist militia continues its crimes undeterred in an attempt to spread terror and chaos in the region in order to achieve its illegal goals and objectives”.
The statement called on the international community to condemn these terrorist acts that target civilians and civilian facilities and reject them completely.
The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its sincere condolences to the families of those who died as a result of this criminal attack and wished the injured and their families a speedy recovery.
The terrorist attack on civilian facilities in the UAE was widely condemned and confirmed its support for the UAE in the face of such attacks.
According to Abou Dabi police, the attack on the Musaffah ICAD 3 area near ADNOC tanks killed three people and injured six others.
In a statement, Abou Dabi police said: “The incident resulted in the death of one person of Pakistani nationality and two persons of Indian nationality, and the injury of six others between moderate and minor”.
It added: “The competent authorities are launching an extensive investigation into the cause of the fire and the surrounding circumstances”.
Abou Dabi police confirmed that drones may be behind the blast at the Musaffah and the fire in a construction area at Abou Dabi airport.
