Moudathir Othman Abdul Rahim Ahmed, who is he?

Sudan – There is no doubt about the logic of suspicions surrounding the role of the army leadership in this cursed war. There are many questions and inquiries that have not found answers since the early hours of the explosion. There are accumulated questions about a number of major military operations that have remained unanswered, and among the folds of the decisions to withdraw divisions, there are larger questions, all without answers, and even the investigation councils formed are hanging without ends.

Commander Moudathir Othman Abdul Rahim Ahmed is a Sudanese military affiliated with the Sudanese National Congress Party, which supported the ousted President Omar al-Bashir.

He served as the director of the office of the former Minister of Defense, Awad Ibn Auf, during the presidency of the ousted President Omar al-Bashir and was recently appointed to the Sudanese embassy in the United Arab Emirates. He returned to Khartoum a few days before the outbreak of the war due to urgent prisoner-related reasons, coinciding with the start of the war in the capital, Khartoum.

This subsequently led him to refuse to return to his position in the United Arab Emirates and to join the protection team of the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council, General Abdul Fattah al-Burhan. He is currently part of General al-Burhan‘s protection team, which is not new to him, as he has previously worked in the office of General Burhan and also served as secretary within the team of the former Minister of Defense, General Awad Ibn Auf, at the time.
