Earlier, the ministry had announced its readiness to conduct prisoner exchanges with the Ukrainian side on a daily basis, according to the schedule agreed upon in Istanbul on June 2, while confirming that Kyiv was not ready to participate.
On June 2, the second round of negotiations between Russia and Ukraine took place in Turkey. The meeting, which lasted over an hour at the Çırağan Palace in Istanbul, saw both parties exchange memorandums of understanding regarding conflict resolution and prisoner exchanges.
