Syria’s return to its Arab League headquarters has become urgent in confronting the Turkish occupation

The question of Syria’s return to the Arab League has returned to the table, as Algeria prepares for its 31st summit, to be held next October, amid mounting Turkish intervention and abuse.

This is also what Ambassador Sameh Choukri, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Egypt, stressed in his address on Egypt’s support for Syria’s return to the Arab League, its support for the stabilization of the situation in Syria, and for the preservation of the capabilities of the Syrian people, who suffered throughout the last period as a result of sabotage and destruction.

Syria’s return to the International League is important

In this context, Syrian political analyst Yaareb Khayrbek says that Syria’s return to the Arab League is a priority at the moment, and especially that there is significant Arab support for this initiative, to preserve the country from subversion and interference – mainly Turkey, which is flagrantly violating the rights of the Syrian citizen, and stealing and pillaging the means of the Syrian people.

In a statement to Al-Arab Mubasher, the Syrian political analyst added that Syria’s exit from the Arab League was not approved by the Arab countries. This confirms that Syria’s return to the Arab League has become an absolute necessity to confront any foreign interference.

Khayrbek said that Turkey’s blatant intervention in Syria has changed the view of many countries that had been reluctant to see Syria return to its seat in the Arab League.

Fictional entities that do not represent the people

The Syrian analyst pointed out that the Syrian opposition, the National Coalition and other dubious entities administered from Doha did not meet any of the demands of the Syrian people, and that all they did was in their own interest and in the interest of the Syrian people and its resources and internal and external rights.

Turkey’s interventions require Syria’s support

Mohammed Ezzeddine, a writer specializing in Arab affairs, said: The Syrian regime’s victories and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s plots against Damascus underscore the need for Syria to return to the Arab League for now.

He added that the coming summit will witness renewed discussion on the return of Syria and it is expected that real decisions will be taken on the return of Syria to its seat in the Arab League.

Regarding Turkey’s crimes in northern Syria, Ezzeddine said: Foreign interference in Syria must stop, especially after numerous reports of crimes committed against the Syrian people were revealed by the Erdogan regime, which is trying to achieve its ambitions in Syria.
