The Brotherhood smell of the failed coup attempt in the Kingdom of Jordan

The failed coup attempt in the Kingdom of Jordan on Saturday night came days after the ”New Levant” Alliance project, which was scheduled to be held in Iraq, Jordan and Egypt. A trilateral summit was supposed to be held in Baghdad, but it was delayed in the last moments and was replaced by the visit of the Prime Minister of Iraq to Riyadh and today to Abu Dhabi.

“Notably, the coup led to the arrest of Bassem Awadallah, the former head of the Jordanian Royal Court, who serves as an adviser to Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, in a role very similar to that of Mohammed Dahlan, an adviser to the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi.”

The Brotherhood media began promoting the idea that the coup was supported by Saudi Arabia, in an attempt to appear to keep the Brotherhood in Jordan out of the crossfire and isolate it from the repercussions of the coup. There is also information circulating about the approaching clash between Jordanian King Abdullah Bin Hussein and the Brotherhood.

The BBC (known for their Brotherhood leanings) published a sympathetic recording of Prince Hamzah, saying : I am under house arrest and I wonder if my criticism of the country will lead to my detention and my placement under house arrest, I am not part of any conspiracy or alliance and what concerns me is the national interest, knowing that the Brotherhood’s social media pages have shown remarkable sympathy with the detained Jordanian Crown Prince Hamzah bin al-Hussein.

What also points to the Brotherhood’s relationship with what is happening in Jordan is the alliance of Queen Noor, the mother of Prince Hamzah with Hillary Clinton, the former American Secretary of State, and the Democratic candidate in the American presidential elections four years ago. Noor provided financial support to Clinton in her electoral confrontation with Donald Trump, and Clinton is known for her close relationship with the international organization of the Brotherhood, as revealed by Emiliat Clinton, the American Secretary of State, who was deployed by Mike Pompeo during the Trump era as part of the Democratic-Republican electoral dispute.
