The Giants’ Brigades topple a Houthi drone in Yemen’s Harib

Forces from the southern Giants Brigades on Tuesday succeeded in shooting down a drone belonging to Houthi militias in the southern Marib province, eastern Yemen.

In a statement, the Southern Giants Brigades said that their ground defenses shot down a Houthi drone over Harib Directorate, south of Marib, in the second such operation in less than a week.
According to the statement, the southern forces’ defenses dealt with the Houthi drone, which was flying over Harib directorate and managed to bring it down.
A video showed part of the wreckage of the drone, which was shot down by the giants’ forces before reaching its target.

“On Wednesday, the Giants shot down a Houthi-controlled airliner in the same district where fighting with Iranian-backed putschists is raging.

Earlier on Tuesday, the Giants’ forces found dozens of boxes with UN emblems and mines of various forms belonging to the Houthi militia.

The Giants’ Brigades entered the directorate of Harib, which is adjacent to Ain in Shabwah district, following last week’s launch of a three-pronged military offensive as part of Operation Happy Yemen Freedom.

The Giants’ Brigades have liberated dozens of sites in the district, which has caused a major blow to the Houthi terrorist militia.
