The Mohamed bin Zayed Council: The human capital and main driver of its development plans and renaissance journey
UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan attached great importance to the councils and ordered their expansion in accordance with the vision of the UAE, which has invested human capital since its inception. He also focused attention on councils by bringing fathers and sons to the councils of elders, taking care that the knowledge they acquire is not limited to customs and traditions, but extends to aspects of knowledge and science, education, economics, poetry, culture and other subjects.
The UAE also has more than 46 councils in Abu Dhabi, including 16 in Abu Dhabi, 24 in Al Ain, and six in the Al Dhafra region.
Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Council
Members of society, young and old, and people of science and knowledge come together to discuss, exchange ideas and opinions, and benefit from each other.
The most important model of councils is the Mohamed bin Zayed Council, which is attended by President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and is considered one of the most important lighthouses for science, ideas and the dissemination of human values.
The Mohamed bin Zayed Council for Lectures was launched during the holy month of Ramadan in 2006, in implementation of the directives of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, to establish a platform for the provision of science and knowledge during the blessed month of Ramadan. The council is based on its belief in the importance of establishing a culture of dialog, exchange of views and sharing ideas, in order to reach a deeper, more comprehensive understanding and better solutions to various issues affecting the future of societies and human life, by hosting a select group of scientists, experts and specialists in all areas of science and knowledge from different countries of the world.
The council highlights the most important topics and issues related to sustainable development, the preservation of humanity, technological and digital development, health, future outlook, artificial intelligence, knowledge economy, research and space, education and quality of life.
UAE doctors, academics, influencers, intellectuals and officials with skills in conversational management, and constructive and purposeful conduct of lectures and discussion sessions are striving to highlight the role UAE is playing in organizing the lectures at the Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Amer Council.
A clear vision and limited road map
The revival of councils throughout the emirates confirms that they have had a conscious leadership with a clear vision and a roadmap since the Founding Fathers. The We UAE 2031 Strategy is a new vision and a national action plan through which the UAE will complete its development path for the next decade.
It focuses on the social, economic, investment and development aspects, and seeks to enhance its status as a global partner, an attractive and influential economic center, and to highlight the successful economic model of the state and the opportunities it offers to all global partners.
