Dr. Aguila Debichi, Director of the French Center for Strategic and International Studies, said that she alerted Europe to the imminent danger that the Muslim Brotherhood represents to its societies with the increase of terrorist attacks that targeted several European capitals in 2020. Investigations proved the affiliation of the perpetrators to Muslim Brotherhood extremist organizations in the country, the most prominent of which was the bloody Vienna attack that took place on November 2, 2020, the attacks in Nice, France that took place on October 30, 2020, in addition to the crime of slaughtering the French teacher Samuel Paty in October of the same year.
European countries are adjusting their strategies to deal with the Brotherhood, she said, after several warnings were issued by European security and intelligence reports warning of the danger of the organization’s incursion into European societies.
