The UAE: $24 billion to stimulate the private sector to accommodate 75,000 people
UAE President Sheikh Khalifa ben Zayed Al Nahyane allocated 24 billion Dirhams to stimulate the private sector to absorb 75,000 citizens as part of the second package of “50 projects”.
UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed ben Rachid Al Maktoum tweeted: “My brother, the Head of State, may God protect him, has ordered the allocation of 24 billion Dirhams to the revival of the
private sector to accommodate 75,000 citizens.. to support the salaries of citizens in the private sector, bonuses for their children, training and qualification, and a new fund to support the projects of graduates.”
He added: “Today, we have clear and supported targets for the percentage of citizens in the private sector. The future is in the private sector.. The Government and private sector are partners in the homeland, partners in the process and partners in the future. The new fifty years are more beautiful and better, God willing.”
Abou Dabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces Sheikh Mohammed ben Zayed Al Nahyane tweeted: “Empowering our children is at the core of our planning for the future.. “In order to realize this vision, the government program to support the employment of citizens in the private sector was launched.”
He continued: “Our goal is to enhance the participation of qualified citizens in this vital sector in a way that achieves our development ambitions.”
