The UAE Humanitarian Team Distributes 200 Livestock to the Residents of Amdjarass in Chad 


The UAE humanitarian team present in the city of Am Jars in Chad has distributed 200 livestock to the needy families in the Al Hila area, a suburb of the city. This is part of the team’s ongoing humanitarian relief initiatives.

     

The UAE humanitarian team present in the city of Amdjarass in Chad has distributed 200 livestock to the needy families in the Al Hila area, a suburb of the city. This is part of the team’s ongoing humanitarian relief initiatives.

The aim of this new initiative is to provide some basic needs for these families. In the past days, the humanitarian team distributed more than 188 food baskets, benefiting over 1,128 families from the same area.

The humanitarian team consists of the UAE Coordination Office for Humanitarian Affairs, the UAE Red Crescent Authority, the Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, and the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian Works.

Ali Obaid Al Breiki, Director of the External Aid Coordination Office in Chad, affirmed that the UAE humanitarian team in Amdjarass is making continuous efforts to provide essential humanitarian needs for Sudanese refugees in Chad and the local community. This includes needy families and vulnerable groups such as patients, children, the elderly, and women.

Al Breiki extended heartfelt thanks to the Republic of Chad and its government for the facilitation provided, enabling the UAE team to offer assistance to Sudanese refugees and the local community in and around Amdjarass. He emphasized that the UAE, under the guidance of its wise leadership, is committed to providing all forms of food and medical support to the region’s inhabitants to alleviate their suffering.

On his part, Aboud Hashim Badir, Mayor of Amdjarass, praised the UAE’s humanitarian relief efforts and acknowledged their close observation of the needs of Sudanese refugees and the local community on the ground. This reflects the keenness of the UAE’s humanitarian entities to deliver aid to those in need.

Hashim expressed gratitude and appreciation to the UAE for its support to the Chadian people through providing relief aid. He affirmed that the UAE is a nation of humanity, and such efforts are not unfamiliar to it. He expressed hope that the UAE humanitarian team will continue providing assistance to other regions in Chad, especially those facing similar conditions to Amdjarass.
