Regarding her policy of managing the new government, the prime minister said: “We aim to fight corruption, which is becoming more widespread by the day.”

She added: “We aim to accelerate the economic process in the country and open the door for young people,” she said. “Our citizens are equal in rights without any discrimination.”

“The government’s work is based on restoring confidence in the state and citizens and can only be achieved through a feeling of full rights and trust in the administration, and confidence in transactions, which will only be achieved through the application of the law,” she said.

She called for restoring hope in citizens for a better future, improving living conditions, opening the door for initiative and adopting competence and experience.

The head of government stressed the need to be effective in government work, develop its methods of work and embody the principle of monitoring and selecting the most capable people.

On September 29, President Kais Saied tasked Najla Bouden with forming a government, making her the first Arab woman to assume the position.

This is part of a rescue mission Saied began to undertake to overcome the remnants of the Brotherhood’s rule since 2011.
