Tunisian analyst: Restoring the spirit of democracy can only be achieved by fighting corruption

Day after day, the truth about the Muslim Brotherhood unfolds in Tunisia. Between the charges and crimes committed by the terrorist movement, including corruption, assassinations and other crimes, however, the Tunisian state continues to fight corruption relentlessly, and those who work to disrupt this path to resist swarms of locusts that have spread everywhere are among the corrupt, according to Tunisian President Kais Saied.

Tunisian security forces have been carrying out days of arrests against politicians, trade unionists, isolated judges and businessmen suspected of plotting against the state and financial corruption.

Dr. Monzer Kafrash, a Tunisian political analyst, says, Tunisia is fighting a war of national liberation against the corruption that Ennahda has caused over the past years, confirming that no one is supporting or interested in the movement of the Brotherhood on the street; Because every time they go out to demonstrate, they remind the Tunisian street of their failure, their crimes, and their disasters, and the amount of destruction they left behind throughout the decade of destruction; On the contrary, they help rally the Tunisian people and increase the popularity of President Kais Saied by supporting him in his campaign of accountability against them.

The Tunisian analyst added: “Restoring the spirit of democracy will only be possible by fighting corruption, especially after the involvement of a number of its figures, directly or indirectly. It believes that Ennahda and its allies, and the Tunisian state, are in an existential battle between existing institutions and others who wanted to replace them and take them back to the period of destruction; But the law and the judiciary are the deciding factor.

He added that the Ennahdha movement continues its decline towards violence and conspiracy against the state in light of the successes achieved by President Kais Saied in cleansing state institutions of the Brotherhood and its plots against the state.
