Turkish forces open safe havens for ISIS return in Syria – details
Turkey continues to commit war crimes under the pretext of fighting the Kurds in Syria and uses this pretext to expand its influence in the country in a way that increases extremism and provides a safe haven for extremists and fertile ground for the return of the terrorist organization “ISIS” after it was dying over the past years.
Only Syrian civilians are suffering from the woes in light of the stifling economic crisis that the world in general is going through and Syria, which has been particularly exhausted by the war.
Turkish plans
In light of the chaos Syria has been living in for the past 11 years and its economic, security and political repercussions on the country, which led to its division into three parts. One of the parts was under the control of the Turkish occupation in the north of Syria, which caused thousands of deaths and injuries and the mass genocide of a large number of Kurds to expand Turkish influence and control over the north of Syria.
A report published by Amnesty International warned that Ankara had recently sought to implement a scheme to occupy new Syrian regions in a way that contributed to the re-emergence of ISIS elements, especially with the clear insecurity and continued violations in the various occupied Kurdish regions.
Exposing Occupation Crimes
For its part, the Kurdish Democratic Unity Party held a broad meeting recently in Syria, during which it revealed Turkish violations and threats. Kurdish officials from Afrin, Sirri Kaneh, and Kari Sabi stressed during the meeting the need to expose the Turkish occupation, expose the reality of its support for terrorist organizations, committing war crimes against the Kurds, and threatening the security of northern Syria.
During the meeting, the officials stressed the continued active participation in the self-administration in northern and eastern Syria and the Kurdish areas, maintaining it as a gain and a achievement made thanks to thousands of martyrs and many of the wounded, and contributing to the protection of gains from enemies inside and outside by exposing corruption, stressing that the dangers facing the Kurds are real.
The silence of the international community
The Kurdish Unity Party says Turkish-backed armed factions in northeast Syria are facing war crimes charges, explaining that the group has repeatedly tried to seek the help of the international community and has made dozens of demands for years that Turkey should be held responsible for the actions of its allies, especially with the circulation of hundreds of video clips showing the brutality of Turkish-affiliated militias in dealing with Syrian civilians.
The recent period has witnessed a dramatic increase in the number of terrorist operations and human rights violations by the Turkish forces, especially by pro-Turkish Syrian factions.
