Turkish man stabs his father to death, informs police: “Perhaps my father died”
A brawl erupted between a Turkish man and his son, involving the use of edged weapons, which quickly escalated into a verbal altercation.
In detail, Turkish media reported that the altercation occurred between Jehan Inan and his son Bora on Saturday evening inside an apartment in the district of Buyaka.
The father is 46 years old, while his son is 20 years old. The Turkish police stated in a press release that the son stabbed his father multiple times due to verbal disputes between them.
After stabbing his father, the son contacted emergency services, explaining to them what had happened inside the house. He provided them with the address and told them, “My father… perhaps he died.”
The son fled before the arrival of the police. Turks on social media speculated about the son’s motives for stabbing his father under posts with the hashtag “Perhaps he died.”
Emergency and ambulance teams attempted to save the father, but he passed away hours after being stabbed. The police later managed to apprehend the son, who confessed to his crime, attempting to justify it by citing disagreements between them.
