Two Injured in Plane Crash in Germany 

Two people were injured following the crash of a small Cessna C-172 aircraft in the city of Stuttgart, Germany.

In a statement released Monday, German police reported that the single-engine, four-seat plane crashed during its landing on Sunday.

The statement noted that Stuttgart Airport was temporarily closed to air traffic due to the accident.

The pilot sustained minor injuries, while the 70-year-old passenger was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The statement added that the weather was foggy and overcast at the time of the landing, and investigations into the cause of the accident are ongoing.
