UAE announces new council of ministers and inaugurates the government work methodology
Sheikh Mohammed ben Rachid Al Maktoum, UAE vice president and prime minister and ruler of Dubai, announced the new cabinet formation and the methodology of government work.
On Twitter, Sheikh Mohammed ben Rachid Al Maktoum wrote: “Brothers and sisters.. “After consulting with my brother Mohammed Ben Zayed and adopting my brother, the President of the United Arab Emirates, may God preserve him, we announce today the new cabinet line-up of the federal government in the United Arab Emirates.”
He continued: “With the formation of the new government, we will also announce a new methodology for the federal government’s work for the new 50 years.”
Sheikh Mohammed ben Rachid Al Maktoum added: “The new methodology comes with the completion of our previous plan (Emirates Vision 2021), during which we realized our ambitions for the past ten years,” he said.
He also said: “Today, the UAE leads the world in 100 development indicators and leads the region in 470 government, economic and technical indicators. We are entering the new 50 with different global ambitions.”
He went on: “The new government will work with the new methodology we launched today.. It will focus on the priorities adopted by the Head of State, may God preserve him, within the principles of 50. “It will keep up with the next stage with all its changes and challenges and the speed of its developments to achieve the goals of the next stage of our development trip.”
Sheikh Mohammed ben Rachid Al Maktoum, UAE vice president and prime minister and ruler of Dubai, also tweeted: “We announce the new cabinet formation of the UAE government, where Sheikh Maktoum ben Mohammed ben Rachid Al Maktoum was appointed deputy prime minister and minister of finance.. Maktoum will provide support and ammunition, add a lot to the federal government, and develop mechanisms to keep pace with our new ambitions.”
“We also announce today the appointment of Abdullah ben Sultan ben Awad al-Noaimi as Minister of Justice, and the appointment of Dr. Abdulrahman al-Awar as Minister of Human Resources and Settlement,” he said. “We thank and appreciate brother Sultan al-Badi and brother Nasser al-Hamili for their role, efforts and service during the previous period.”
He continued: “We also announce today the appointment of Maryam al-Muhairi as Minister of Climate Change and Environment and the transfer of the ministry’s food and water security file. “The appointment of brother Abdullah bin Muhair al-Ketbi as the Minister of Higher Council Affairs for the Federation gives them every success in their new duties.”
Sheikh Mohammed ben Rachid Al Maktoum added: “We also announce the appointment of Mohammed bin Hadi Al-Husseini as Minister of State for Financial Affairs, succeeding Obaid Al-Tayer.. “Our thanks and appreciation go to brother Obaid for his service and dedication over the past years, and my wishes for him for new years to dedicate to serving his country in new sectors.”
