UAE national security advisor meets Iran’s president
The United Arab Emirates continues its diplomatic policy of keeping the doors of consensus open to all States; to find common languages in order to maintain stability in the Middle East.

Meanwhile, UAE National Security Advisor Sheikh Tahnoun ben Zayed Al Nahyane arrived in Tehran today at the invitation of his Iranian counterpart, the official WAM news agency reported.
The UAE official and his Iranian counterpart held talks on issues of mutual interest.
At the end of last month, Anwar Gargash, the UAE president’s diplomatic advisor, held talks with Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri, who visited Abou Dabi.
The meeting dealt with relations between the UAE and Iran, and the two sides stressed the importance of strengthening them, on the basis of good neighborliness and mutual respect, within the framework of common interests, and working to achieve more stability and prosperity in the region, and to develop economic and trade relations between the two neighboring countries.
The meeting also discussed regional and international developments of common concern.
Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian held a telephone conversation late last month with his UAE counterpart, Sheikh Abdallah ben Zayed Al Nahyan, during which they discussed various issues, including political, consular and bilateral issues.
He described bilateral relations with the UAE at the time as “growing”. “The new Iranian government is determined to continue its consultations and active cooperation with friends and neighbors”.
