What comes after the international community’s silence on Houthi’s crimes? – Yemeni political expert answers

Under unjustified international silence, Houthi violations continue in Yemen in general and in Taiz in particular, which remains under siege for more than seven years despite the UN truce, the most prominent of which was lifting the siege on the city, which is suffering more and more.

Mohammed Said Bahaddad, a Yemeni activist and political analyst, said the silence of human rights organizations and the international community on the abuses committed by the Houthis in Taiz is astonishing, especially since crimes are increasing at an alarming rate.

The Yemeni political analyst added that the necessary actions to confront these Houthi crimes are represented in the resistance’s decision to use force to lift the siege on Taiz province and to confront the Houthi schemes that implement Iran’s agenda in the region and Yemen. He added that we as southerners support the lifting of the siege of Taiz, but it is very unfortunate that the government’s negotiating delegation abandoned it, and the negotiating delegation must be reformed equally between the south and the north.

He stressed that the south does not retreat from all its legitimate rights aimed at the restoration of sovereignty over land and wealth, and that the war with the Houthi in the south is a war of existence, pointing out that the war on the south is a first class economic war and even oil war par excellence.
