Winter viruses returning, doctors urge to stay vigilant

Cold, cough, stomach ache… These symptoms are on the increase in France, because winter viruses appear at this time of year. “We see an increase in the number of detections among our general medicine samples”, explains Vincent Enouf, virologist at the Institut Pasteur.

Among the viruses detected, “a bit of everything”, continues the doctor, referring to “rhinoviruses which are responsible for the common colds”.
