Yemeni analyst reveals Houthi and al-Qaeda plots to prolong Yemen’s crisis

In a new attempt to return to the scene in Yemen, the Al-Qaeda terrorist organization issued a statement threatening Yemenis with more wars and attacking the formation of the Yemeni Presidential Council. The statement comes at a time that confirms the extent of the hidden relations and cooperation between Houthi and Al-Qaeda, which represents the arm of the Brotherhood to prolong crises in Yemen.

The details began with the publication by Al-Malahem Foundation, the media arm of Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, of a statement regarding the establishment of the new presidential council to attack it, as a form of a renewed defense against terrorism and an attempt to reemerge through hidden cooperation and coordination with the Houthis, sponsored by the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood organization.

Al-Qaeda’s terrorist endeavors

Yemeni analyst Ahmed Jabbari said: The attempt by Al-Qaeda to appear on the scene in Yemen confirms that there is direct coordination with the Houthi group against the new presidential council, especially after it threatened the Houthis in its first meeting.

The Yemeni analyst added: the Brotherhood is the main supporter of the hidden cooperation between al-Qaeda and the Houthi group to carry out plans, and to try to obstruct the activity of the new Presidential Council in Yemen, especially after the success of the Yemeni consultations in Riyadh, all of these moves showed the weakness of the Houthi militia in Yemen, and it is currently striving to introduce al-Qaeda as a new party in order to implement their terrorist plans.

Houthi violations

The Yemeni army also confirmed that the Houthi rebel militia, supported by Iran, has escalated violations of the U.N. truce on various fronts, confirming that it monitored the Houthi militias committing 105 violations of the U.N. truce on Wednesday in six provinces.

The statement noted 26 breaches of the UN truce by the Houthi militia on the Bahar axis, west of Taiz and on the Hays axis, south of Hodeidah, 24 violations on the southern, western and northwestern fronts of Marib, 22 breaches on the Haradh and Bani Hassan fronts, west of Hajjah, 18 breaches on the Ta’izz axis, 8 breaches on Jathfar and Huwaishyan, east of Hazm al-Jawf, and 7 breaches on the Maris front, east of Al-Dhale.
