 It’s the value of the aid provided by the UAE to Yemen
 during the period from April 2015 to February 2020
 The health and education sector came at the top of the aid
 with the securing of roads, reconfiguration of airports and ports and construction of new housing
 The aid represented a source of income for many sections of Yemenis
 like widows, orphans, determined people and others
 and this through a consistent partnership between the United Arab Emirates and Yemen
 and international and humanitarian organizations
 to ensure coordination and unify efforts to reach the parties concerned
 Furthermore, support for public programs which estimated at 10.83 billion dirhams
 this aid provided the necessary funding
 to activate services in vital and important sectors
 such as humanitarian relief services, food aid and house building
 and in the area of health and hospitals, the UAE has provided
 about 2.37 billion AED
 with the reconstruction and maintenance of more than 110 hospitals and clinics
 by supplying modern medical devices and managing the costs of surgical operations
 and build dialysis centers and a surgical center
 as well as birth centers, centers for determined persons and others
 and during the year 2020 during which the Corona pandemic spread around the world
 The UAE Red Crescent presented health and awareness campaigns and hygiene campaigns
 and about 220 thousand people benefited in the governorate of Hodeidah
 It also created two laboratories to produce medical masks to prevent the virus
 besides food aid, estimated at 545 tonnes for poor families
 and aid of tents and necessary needs
