Jordanian activists launched a fierce attack on the Muslim Brotherhood after the video surfaced, showing one of the group’s parliamentary candidates, along with his gang, assaulting a shop in the capital, Amman.
The hashtag “#Brotherhood_Candidate_Thug,” targeting the candidate Wissam Al-Rubaihat, quickly spread on social media, becoming a trending topic in Jordan.
Users on (X) wrote that among the gang members was another individual who supported terrorist organizations like ISIS and Al-Qaeda, describing them as a group of criminals attacking shops and citizens. Others mentioned that security forces had arrested the Brotherhood candidate and his companions, although this has not been confirmed.
