Russia: His Lung Exploded While Trying to Inflate Balloons
The life of a man from Moscow ended tragically after he inhaled gas from a cylinder containing helium, causing his lung to explode and resulting in his death.
According to the channel “SHOT,” the man’s friend found him dead and lying on the floor with a helium cylinder next to him upon her return to their rented apartment last Wednesday.
The 23-year-old woman called emergency services in a hysterical state. When the paramedics arrived, they declared the young man dead, noting that the death was due to a lung explosion while he attempted to inhale gas from the cylinder.

The woman denied that her friend had any suicidal tendencies and added that he had purchased the helium cylinder to inflate balloons and decorate the apartment.
According to Russian media, the man was unemployed and had come to Moscow from the city of Bryansk, while the woman works as a producer at a film company.
