Houthis Call on the Muslim Brotherhood Regarding Syria

The Houthi terrorist group has urged the Al-Islah party, “the Muslim Brotherhood‘s arm in Yemen,” to take a clear stance on the genocide committed by al-Joulani’s factions in Syria.

In a post on X, senior Houthi official Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti stated: “The nation is going through a critical and sensitive phase, and the Muslim Brotherhood has a historic opportunity to reduce divisions within the Ummah caused by the Syrian conflict, by condemning the genocide committed by al-Joulani’s group against Shiites and Alawites.”

The Houthi official also pointed out that some individuals affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood had been involved in inciting these crimes.

Several Houthi leaders and activists have rushed to defend al-Assad’s Syria and its regime, describing the escalation as “a treacherous stab in the back of the Axis of Resistance.”

In their posts and statements, Houthi activists accused the Muslim Brotherhood and all figures associated with Sunni political Islam of “collaborating with Israel and the U.S.” to weaken the Axis of Resistance.

It is worth noting that Syria has recently witnessed widespread clashes and skirmishes in some coastal areas. Ahmed Al-Shar’a’s (al-Joulani’s) forces have committed numerous crimes under the pretext of pursuing remnants of the former regime and restoring security. Iran and Hezbollah have been accused of mobilizing sleeper cells to stir chaos in the country.
