Adidas: second quarter net profit of EUR 360 million

The equipment manufacturer Adidas said that the recovery will be slower than expected given China’s weighting on the outlook.

The equipment manufacturer Adidas confirmed today a net profit of 360 million euros in the second quarter, announced preliminary at the end of July, while the less rapid recovery than expected in China plagues the outlook.

The giant lowered its annual forecast in late July amid health restrictions in Asia’s main market.

The group expects to see 5-10% growth in annual global sales at constant exchange rates, up from 11-13% previously.
