This attack resulted in the martyrdom of 3 Bahraini forces members and several injuries. The Houthi cross-border attack has shown that it crosses red lines, targeting Bahraini Defense Force positions along the southern Saudi border and undermining peace efforts.

The United Arab Emirates expressed its heartfelt condolences and solidarity with Bahrain, stating in a statement that the attack represents a disregard for all international laws and norms, requiring a deterrent response. The ministry urged the international community to unite efforts and take a decisive stance to stop these actions and return to a political process leading to peace, security, and stability in Yemen and the region.
Adel bin Abdulrahman Al-Asoumi, the President of the Arab Parliament, affirmed the full solidarity of the Arab Parliament with Bahrain, its leadership, government, and people in this great tragedy. He called on the international community and the Security Council to take urgent action to stop the actions of the Houthi militia, warning against the danger of the Houthi militias returning to violence and emphasizing the need for them to fully commit to stopping attacks and respecting the lives of civilians and military personnel.
The Terrorism of the Houthis
Saudi political analyst Fahd Dibajy said that the Houthi militia continues its terrorist and destructive plots in the region, noting that the recent terrorist operation against the coalition forces and Bahrain undermines stability and peace efforts. He also pointed out that the declaration of the Houthi militia as a terrorist organization has been long overdue, and this decision must be taken in the near future.
He added that the significant sacrifices made by the heroic soldiers of the coalition forces under Saudi leadership reflect Arab solidarity and a courageous and unified stance against ambitions and conspiracies aimed at undermining Gulf and Arab security and stability.
Peace Efforts Foiled
Meanwhile, Abdulsttar Al-Shamiri, the head of the “Juhud for Studies” center in Yemen, said, “The terrorist attack by the Houthi militia on a Bahraini force in the southern Saudi border undermines all peace efforts, even those related to humanitarian issues.” He added that the Houthi militia follows a policy of blackmailing the international community in all negotiation files, noting that “the terrorist militias always try to manage all their negotiations with escalation, negotiating and using force as well.”
