Al Sisi to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid: The progress and growth of Dubai and the Emirates is an inspiring experience

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi said on Monday that the progress and prosperity of Dubai and the United Arab Emirates is an inspiring development for the entire region.

Mubarak made the remarks during a meeting Monday with UAE Vice President and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum on the sidelines of the World Summit of Governments in Dubai.

In a statement, the Egyptian presidency said that President Al-Sisi expressed his appreciation for Egypt’s special invitation as a guest of honor at the World Summit of Governments in Dubai, which contributes to the generation of creative ideas that represent an inspiring way to face various regional challenges.

Special status

Al-Sisi stressed that Egypt’s keenness to participate in the World Summit of Governments through a high-level delegation headed by him reflects the depth of the distinguished relations between the two countries, which represent an important basis for maintaining security and Arab interests in the region.

Egyptian presidential spokesman Counselor Ahmed Fahmy said that Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum affirmed the special status that Egypt and its people enjoy among the Emirati people, praising Egypt’s pioneering role in defending Arab causes and the positions of the Egyptian political leadership and its wise policies at the domestic and international levels.

According to the statement, the meeting highlighted the strength of the brotherly relations and the historical ties between the two countries and their peoples, and their depth at all levels, especially with the Emirate of Dubai, which reflected positively on the intensity of mutual coordination on priority issues, in order to achieve the common goals and interests of both sides.
