Analysts reveal details of Libyan crisis and Brotherhood interference to exacerbate the domestic situation

The clashes and divisions between the Libyan parties represented by Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh, Libya’s reclusive prime minister, and Fathi Bashagha, the current prime minister-designate from the parliament, are occurring in Libya. The Muslim Brotherhood terrorist group seeks to exploit these crises against the stability of the state.

Brotherhood Plans

Extremist organizations, especially the Muslim Brotherhood, have benefited the most from the violent clashes that hit the Libyan capital Tripoli, says Libyan political analyst Haitham El Warfaly. He pointed out that the situation is very volatile in Libya at present, especially in light of the intense clashes between the two conflicting parties in the Libyan arena.

The Libyan political analyst added that the situation in Libya will not be resolved without the presence of parties working for the greater interest of Libya. He added that these Libyan conflicts will not calm down while each party stands against the other’s decision, clarifying that the recent clashes that took place in the Libyan arena brought Libya into a dark tunnel and led to many economic and political losses.

Political blockage

For his part, Dr. Muhammad Al-Zubaidi, a Libyan academic and analyst, said that what is happening in Libya at present is the result of the political impasse prevailing in the political arena in Libya and many other factors, including the continuation of the machinery of Brotherhood incitement and the movement of Mufti Sadiq Al-Ghariani, which tends to inflame the political situation in Libya and escalate the differences significantly.

The Libyan analyst added that the conflicting parties in Libya, including no party that thinks of Libya and its interest as a country and people that seeks stability, there are external parties as well as states that finance and incite in order for Libya to continue in these events and internal turmoil and crises that result in conflicts, clashes, violence, sabotage and other bad conditions that the country is going through.

Last week, Tripoli witnessed fierce fighting and clashes between militias, killing 32 and injuring dozens of people, in the worst fighting in the Libyan capital in two years. The political confrontation for months in the country, for the sake of taking power, is taking place between the unity government based in Tripoli and the government of Bashagha, which is supported by the parliament, based in the east of the country, while the militias support each party, making matters worse.
