Analysts revealed Iran’s role in spreading chaos and violence in the region
Iran continues its terrorist plans and is involved in many terrorist acts aimed at targeting the security and stability of the countries of the region by exploiting terrorist groups to commit these crimes and spread chaos in the region, as revealed by the United Nations Under-Secretary-General, Rosemary DiCarlo, who revealed that the international organization has concluded that the attacks of the Yemeni Houthi group on the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia in recent months were carried out by rockets of Iranian origin.
Exposing Iran
This new clarification announced by the United Nations revealed the reality of Iran and its malicious role in the region to provoke chaos in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and others. The UN confirmed that it had conducted an analysis of information from Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates regarding Item 4 of the Supplement to Resolution 2231 related to the provision, sale or transfer of all materials, goods and technology specified in Council Document S/2015/546 to and from Iran, which includes ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and other unmanned systems with a range exceeding 300 kilometers. The UN-Arab Emirates followed up with Riyadh and Abu Dhabi at the invitation of their authorities, adding that the wreckage of 9 ballistic missiles and 6 cruise missiles were collected in addition to several attacks used by the Houthis group against Saudi and Emirati territory in a manner since 2020, which are believed to have been carried out 2231.
The UN organization noted that the nine ballistic missiles and six cruise missiles had similar characteristics to the Iranian missiles we had previously examined and assessed to be of Iranian origin. However, we were not able to specify when the ballistic missiles or their parts were transferred from Iran, and whether they were specifically transported before January 16, 2016, the date when the ban decision in the annex to Resolution 2231 came into effect.
This comes days after the Group of Seven demanded in the final statement of the summit held in Germany, this week, that Iran stop its ballistic missile tests and its threats to the security of navigation in the Arabian Gulf.
Iranian designs
Amjad Taha, the regional head of the British Center for Middle East Studies and Research and a Saudi analyst, says that Iran has historically been used to commit crimes targeting the security and stability of the region as a whole, and from the beginning it was the main implicated in the missiles that were previously targeted at the UAE and Saudi Arabia by supplying the Houthis.
In a special statement, the Saudi analyst added that Iran’s history is bloody and full of crimes, as it was during the time of the Shah and Abu Shah who occupied the islands of the United Arab Emirates and the Arab Hawzans, and tried to occupy Bahrain and Iran in the time of the Khomeini, and continued to occupy Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, and Yemen, and launched its terrorists against Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. They are now working through terrorist groups to target the security and stability of countries.
Iranian terrorism
Yahya al-Abed, a Yemeni political analyst, said the Houthis are Iran’s tool for spreading their plans in the region by targeting the security and stability of Arab countries, especially the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Iran has been involved in many crimes, acts of sabotage, and acts of violence in many countries.
The Yemeni political analyst added that the UN organization’s disclosure of the missiles that were targeted at the UAE and Saudi Arabia is a clear condemnation and a revelation of the terrorism of that terrorist state and its tampering in the region.
